.....Cannabis and the media.....

Cannabis use is deemed as a crime in various countries across the world. the way in which this crime is perceived in the media varies as-well, from a positive representation in mediums such as films etc to negative representations in biased documentaries etc.  i have noticed from my research that the way in which it is perceived is all dependent on the sourcing medium that it originates from.  here is a example of this; notice the age status and the change in representation due to the age if that had been youths it would have most likely been represented in a more negative way.

Critical reasearch

my critical research topic is crime and the media i plan to look at the media depiction of cannabis and sub topics such as classification and mental and health effects and how they are displayed in the media. i will post some links to articles soon.
